clone classic cuts serves another cult italo disco classic! gorgeous female vocals slapped on that lovely 80 s synthesizer/drum programming. this is one of those releases that easily makes it into the top 50 of all time greatest italo disco songs. produced by roberto ferrante (also known for his pinneaples project) and originally released on the obscure airport label in 1984. we managed to restore and re-master the original versions and the lovely paris mix. on top of the original versions we serve you a new re-rub by italian italo specialist bottin (eskimo, artifacts etc). bottin did a great job with a new crazy soundhack mix that cranks up the energy level and makes it more jackin. pretty amazing when you realize that these tracks are making people dance for 28 years now. more then enough reason for a proper re-release on high quality vinyl. enjoy!

uncanny the label that took everyone by surprise comes with more goodness! the third artist-ep by dresden-based label comes from house- and hip hop-mastermind cuthead and is nothing less than a proper power package. with vibratin things start off as deep as the bottom of the sea. underneath cutheads dense drums there is an intense and meditating synth line which is eventually complimented by an acid figure as if it was an evil twin. brother rolls in with a mighty kick drum, before a catchy sample and not less catchy piano motives prepare for a propitiating end. with transgressions and its bass line for the bigger floors things get down to house business once again. the remaining two tracks then give an impression of what happens, if cuthead takes to the mpc for his liveset. in seram lembah und heartless cuthead combines his drumming with south east asian disco-mantras und bittersweet blues chants to heavy hip-hop-grooves. loving it!

komisch welcomes another new artist to its fold for its last release of 2011.p.god aka paolo dioguardi hails from naples in italy. still in his 20s, he makes music that belies his youth and neptune iv sounds like the work of a veteran producer. lead track approaching an ocean planet sees grainy, dense beats and hypntoic bleeps take the lead, but hovering above the arrangement, tethered to the reverberated, doubled up claps, are ghostly, eerie chords. the title track adopts a similar approach, with bursts of metallic percussion underscoring spacey pads as p.god drops a droning, tunneling rhythm track. finally, geometric shadows on iced surfaces sees the young producer opt for a deeper approach. this time the chords envelop a purring groove, but the same sense of understated menace is still audible thanks to the austere hats and bleak subsonic bass. capturing jeff millss estoeric side and the hypnotic magic of sleeparchive, neptune iv is a real techno journey!

with marc poppcke s >mind revolution ep< we are proud to present crossfrontier audio s first artist ep, the second vinyl release, and the last release in 2011. after releases and remixes on labels like freerage, defected, soma and darkroom dubs and finishing his masters at the berlin university of arts, crossfrontier audio labelhead marc poppcke delivers his frist full artist ep in 2011. with a touch of house, a hint of progressive, some techno on top and everything garnished with a whiff of melancholy, marc brings us four tracks displaying his taste in music and his love for four-to-the-floor electronic club music. the tracks on this ep send you on a journey, perfect for the late hours of the night. he takes you up to space, spins you around, and brings you back down to earth with the drop, leaving you tumbling and now knowing where you are. just like it should be.

here we go with the 2nd release on circle music of the belgium michael coninx alias hermanez. this talented young belgian is both in good company and is fast earning the respect from his peers that many producers can only dream of, with releases on paul ritchs quartz imprint and release >nicotine/soms< on leena music, anja schneiders imprint, plus hermanez remixes for la factoria, and monique musique to name a few. now, after the big success of his first release on circle >locomotive< he will be back with the second one, the >spank ep<, on the mannheim german based label. the a side brings us spank. a groovy and tribal house tune who will rock the floors. the b side with stomp is more progressive and a little bit techno. very cool for every maintime set! circle music is very happy to release this nice piece of clubmusic!

the next llfo comes as a split ep. swedish master of minimal house and argentinian techno veteran franco cinelli gathering to show underground dance musics status quo. franco cinellis da beatz on the a side, is a funky old school composition. the drums are the main plot of the track. twirling snares and classy rides accompanied by a very familiar sample give us a 1995 feeling. pandemonium on the b side, martinez contribution for this wonderful split ep, is his interpretation of modern house in perfection. as usual tight drum patterns, the for to the floor attitude and a low-fi bassline supported by a trippy vocal sample. probably one of his best work of late.

after his succes on mps005, argentinean producer tacito is back for some action on micropunto.another 12inch full of dubby flavours typical of tacitos production, plus an exclusive remix by giorgio gigli (zooloft, prologue) which rounds this release perfectly.this record starts with lession, a dub techno mover that opens nicely this ep with reverberating stabs and percussive loops throughout.leaks brings us to a more mellow and melancolic mood with a break in the middle with nice freezing stabs and mellifluous pads that hypnotize us throughout the track.giorgio giglis remix dont fail to surprise us. with his refined productions he takes the main track and does a stripped down, dubbier version with melodic pads, that gives this track, giorgios special moody imprint.the third track, las flores de fidel, is on a more funky tip with nice percussive sounds while the digital exlusive track hard to sleep, closes this ep elegantly with a mesmerizing composition full of narcotic sounds.
